Who owns Drapes 4 Show?

Drapes 4 Show is a second-generation, family-owned and operated corporation. Karen Honigberg founded the company in 1981. Her son, Jason Honigberg, worked alongside her for 12 years and became President in 2012, continuing the same standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Is Drapes 4 Show American made?

What products does Drapes 4 Show make?

Table linens and tablecloths, table skirting, table runners, chair covers, placemats, table padding, window treatments (pinch pleat and ripplefold drapery), bed linens (duvets, bedspreads, bed scarves, and pillows), conference and meeting products (pipe and drape, stretch covers, and dropovers), and audio-visual equipment covers.

What table skirting pleat styles do you offer?

Four pleat styles, all produced to order:

• Box pleat — a 3-inch-wide pleat with a 3-inch space between pleats, finished with an overlocked hem unless otherwise requested.
• Casual shirred pleat — a gathered pleat formed with two lines of sewing and a 1.5-inch header, gathered 1.5 to 1.
• Expo pleat — a folded pleat formed with two lines of sewing and 1.5 inches between pleats, gathered 1.2 to 1.
• Traditional shirred pleat — a gathered pleat formed with four lines of sewing and ¼ inch between lines, gathered 2 to 1 for maximum fullness.

What audio-visual products do you make?

How long has Drapes 4 Show made audio-visual products?

Our first AV product was projector cart skirting, made in 1982. We have manufactured for the AV industry ever since.

Do you make pipe and drape?

Yes. Pipe and drape is part of our conference and meeting line, along with stretch covers, dropovers, and stage skirting.

Do you make window treatments?

Yes — pinch pleat and ripplefold drapery, made to your measurements.

Do you make bed linens?

Yes — duvets, bedspreads, bed scarves, and pillows for hospitality and guest-room programs.

Do you make table padding?

Yes. We manufacture table padding to fit your table sizes, in the thickness and fabric that suit your setup, so tables sit level and linens lay flat.

Do you make table runners, placemats, and napkins?

Yes, we manufacture all three to order. Table runners, placemats, and napkins are made in the fabric, color, and size you specify, and napkins can be produced with satin band or eye band detailing.

Custom Manufacturing

Do you make custom sizes?

Yes. Nearly everything we produce is made to order. Table skirting can be produced in any length or width, and custom sizing is available across table linens, chair covers, window treatments, and bed linens.

Can you match a specific fabric or color?

We work from a broad fabric library and can source and suggest fabrics to match your carpet, walls, brand palette, or an existing inventory. Send us a photo or a sample and we will recommend options.

Do you accept custom orders?

Yes. Custom orders are a core part of our business, and we have a design and production process built specifically for made-to-order work.

Can you produce for a large volume or a national account?

Yes. Our factory was built, and our equipment acquired, specifically to produce at the size and volume national accounts need.

Do you offer private label or branded linens?

Yes. We produce branded and private-label linens, including logo and emblem detailing, for hotels, restaurants, and rental companies that need their own mark on the product.

Quality and Manufacturing

What makes Drapes 4 Show different from other linen suppliers?

Three things. First, we own our factory — we are not a reseller, so we control construction quality and lead time directly. Second, we are American made, manufacturing in the United States since 1981. Third, you get a named sales representative who works with you until the job is done, rather than a call center.

How experienced is your workforce?

Our factory team includes people who have been with us for 32 years, and our average employee tenure is about 16 years. Several of our sales representatives have been here 15, 24, and 9 years. That continuity is why orders are made right the first time.

Are your audio-visual products tracked?

Yes. All of our AV-related products are serialized and lot tracked, so any item can be traced to its production run.

Do you use custom automation in manufacturing?

Yes. Our factory uses custom automation and process improvements that we developed ourselves, which we combine with skilled hand work on the finishing details.

Can I get fabric swatches or a sample?

Yes. We send fabric swatches and, for larger programs, product samples so you can approve the fabric and construction before production. Contact us and tell us what you are considering.

Is there a minimum order?

Some minimums apply. Minimums vary by product and fabric, so contact us with your requirement and we will confirm the minimum for the item you need.

Do you sell to individuals or only to businesses?

We serve both individual venues and commercial accounts, including hotels, conference centers, AV companies, rental houses, and national purchasing programs.

Do you rent linens?

No. Drapes 4 Show manufactures and sells; we do not rent or lease linens. Rental companies are among our customers — they buy their inventory from us.

Do you offer expedited or rush production?

Yes. Expedited service is available when the fabric is in stock. Tell us your in-hands date and we will confirm what is achievable.

What payment methods do you accept?

Contact us for current payment methods and credit terms. As a manufacturer working with commercial accounts, we set terms per customer.

Lead Times and Delivery

How long does production take?

Contact us for a date. Lead time depends on raw material availability, as well as the item, fabric, and quantity, so we confirm a production date with you before you order.

Where do you ship from?

Orders ship from our own manufacturing facility in the United States.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We ship internationally, and we maintain a separate price list for the UK and European market through conferenceclass.co.uk. Duties and import taxes are set by the destination country and are the recipient’s responsibility.

Can I pick up my order?

Yes. Contact us to arrange will-call pickup at our manufacturing facility and we will have your order staged and ready.

Can you ship to a venue or show site directly?

Yes. We regularly ship to hotels, conference centers, and show sites with a required in-hands date.

Care and Maintenance

How do I clean my linens?

Most of our table linens and skirting are commercial-laundry suitable; follow the care guidance supplied with your order. Because we manufacture the fabric selection, we can recommend the right fabric for the wash cycle your laundry runs.

Which fabric should I choose for heavy commercial washing?

Tell us how the item will be laundered and how often; we will recommend a fabric and construction that stands up to that cycle. Matching the fabric to the wash process is the single biggest factor in product life.
